Otto Bayer

Otto Bayer (1937–2018) was a German translator. He translated numerous works from English into German, including works by Dorothy L. Sayers, Patricia Highsmith, Agatha Christie, Muriel Spark, Ian McEwan, and Ray Bradbury. He received the Literature Prize of the City of Stuttgart for his new translation of Dorothy L. Sayers’s complete works.
