Martin Seifert, born in Jena in 1951, studied acting in Berlin. During his studies, he took on his first roles at the Deutsches Theater. After a brief engagement at the Staatstheater Schwerin, he was a member of the Berliner Ensemble for nearly forty years, from 1978 to 2017. He also worked in film and television and as a voice actor for radio plays and audiobooks for adults and children.
