Markus Hoffmann

Markus Hoffmann, born in 1968 in Ellwangen an der Jagst, is a trained actor and narrator. He appeared on stages in Karlsruhe, Wuppertal and Hamburg and worked as a radio and audiobook narrator, as well as contributing to radio plays, features, literary programs and live readings. He became known in part for his audiobook recordings, including works by Paulo Coelho and Rafik Schami. His readings of Coelho’s novels *The Wanderer* and *On the Road* received a Gold Record award. In 2017, Hoffmann made his debut as a novelist with *Tödliche Triplette*.
