Marianne Loibl

Marianne Loibl published numerous books for children and young adults as well as nonfiction. From 1995 onward, she worked as a journalist for various editorial offices and book publishers. She began her writing career with nonfiction and later also turned to fiction. Loibl wrote her own stories from childhood onward. According to the biographical accounts, imaginative essays helped improve her German grade in third class—an experience that laid the foundation for her work as a children’s author.
