Margit Ruile

Margit Ruile was born in Augsburg in 1967. After studying theatre studies, she studied directing at the University of Television and Film Munich and at the Northern School of Film and Television in Leeds. She subsequently worked as an assistant director, made documentaries and wrote television features. In 1999, she helped establish the Advertising department at the University of Television and Film Munich, where she worked as an artistic and academic staff member until 2011, developing and producing commercials. Around 2010, she began writing books for children and young adults.
