Silke Schellhammer

Silke Schellhammer, born in Baden-Württemberg in 1967, trained and worked in physiotherapy. She later taught at several schools for physiotherapy and wrote for scientific publishers. As an author, she wrote stories and novels for children and young adults and became particularly known for the “School of Talents” series. She later also addressed an older readership. Schellhammer grew up in a large family where many stories were told—stories that were not always true, but were always good. This experience influenced her decision to become a writer.
