Luis Ruby

Luis Ruby, born in Munich in 1970, is a literary translator from Romance languages. The authors he has translated include Clarice Lispector, Hernán Ronsino, and Niccolò Ammaniti. His work has received, among other honors, the Bavarian Arts Advancement Award and the Munich Literature Fellowship. In 2020, he was nominated for the Leipzig Book Fair Prize.
