Irene Vallejo

Irene Vallejo, born in Zaragoza in 1979, studied classical philology at the universities of Zaragoza and Florence. Her studies sparked a lasting interest in the ancient world. She has published two novels, several children’s books and, with Papyrus, her first work of nonfiction. The book became a bestseller in Spain, received major literary awards and has been translated into 37 languages.
