Klaus Maiwald

Klaus Maiwald (born 1960) is a scholar of literature and media education. He held a chair in the teaching of German language and literature at the University of Augsburg. His research focuses on film education and literature education. His publications include *Vom Film zur Literatur. Moderne Klassiker der Literaturverfilmung im Medienvergleich* (2015), as well as studies of literary quality and the reconstruction of social realities in recent German children’s and young adult literature.
