Jan Standke

Jan Standke (born 1981) is a scholar of literary education and professor of German literature education at Technische Universität Braunschweig. In 2017, he took up the corresponding chair at the university’s Institute of German Studies. He previously earned his doctorate at the University of Osnabrück and completed teacher training for secondary schools. His research focuses on contemporary literature in German lessons, children’s and young adult literature, literary learning, and teacher education in German studies.
