Anita Schilcher

Anita Schilcher studied primary-school teaching and German literary studies. She worked as a teacher at primary and lower secondary schools and completed her doctorate and habilitation at the University of Passau. She subsequently held a professorship in the didactics of the German language and literature at the University of Regensburg. Her research has focused on reading and writing education, literary learning, and the professional knowledge of German teachers.
