Klaus Hurrelmann is a German researcher specializing in childhood and youth. In 2009, he became a Senior Professor at the Hertie School in Berlin; he previously held a professorship in the Faculty of Education at Bielefeld University. From 1986 to 1998, he headed the World Health Organization’s collaborative center “Health Behavior in School Children.” His research focuses on socialization, education, and the health of children and young people in families and schools.
