Gudrun Quenzel

Gudrun Quenzel (Dr. phil.) is a German scholar. She taught and conducted research at Bielefeld University and was a member of the staff of the Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities in Essen. In April 2016, she was appointed Professor of Education and Society at the Vorarlberg University of Education, where she also assumed leadership of the Institute of Educational Sociology. Her research has focused on European identity, culture and social integration, discourse analysis, youth and socialization, educational poverty, health, and educational inequality.
