Manfred Cierpka (1950–2017) was a German psychiatrist, psychoanalyst, and family therapist. He served as medical director of the Institute for Psychosomatic Cooperation Research and Family Therapy at Heidelberg University Hospital and was scientific director of the Lindau Psychotherapy Weeks. He was also one of the founders of the Heidelberg Prevention Center, whose work included the development of the prevention program “Faustlos.”
