Karin Lochner

Karin Lochner, born in Upper Bavaria in 1964, worked as a journalist, seminar leader and author. Her reports and articles appeared in newspapers, magazines, travel books and blogs and received awards. Together with Peter von Felbert, she published books including “Sehnsucht Alm,” “Heimat Ruhrgebiet” and “Zu Gast in Bayern.” She wrote her first articles while still at school. She became familiar with the alpine pastures of Upper Bavaria during her childhood and youth, when she often went mountaineering with her large family.
