Julia Nachtmann, born in Stuttgart in 1981, studied at the University of Music and Theatre Hamburg. During her studies, she appeared at the Thalia Theater. From 2005 to 2013, she was a member of the ensemble of the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, where she played, among other roles, Juliet in »Romeo and Juliet« and Luise in Schiller’s »Intrigue and Love«. In 2006, she received the Boy-Gobert Prize for her acting. Alongside her theatre work, Nachtmann appeared in film and television productions, including the feature comedy »Die Church Remains in the Village« and the crime series »Tatort«. She also recorded numerous audiobooks and worked as a radio voice performer.
