Jan Brademann

Jan Brademann (born 1977) is a historian. He studied history, political science and regional history in Halle and Caen and received his doctorate in Münster in 2010. From 2006 to 2011, he worked at Collaborative Research Centre 496 in Münster, followed by a position as assistant at the Chair of Early Modern History at Bielefeld University until 2015. In 2015, he completed a master’s degree in archival science at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. He subsequently worked at the archive of the Evangelical Church of Anhalt in Dessau and became its director in 2019. Brademann was a member of the Historical Commission for Saxony-Anhalt. His publications include “Autonomie und Herrscherkult” (2006) and, as editor and co-author, “Weibliche Diakonie in Anhalt” (2019).
