Jamie McKelvie

Jamie McKelvie is an English comic artist and illustrator. He began his career in 2003 with a comic strip for the British PlayStation magazine, created with writer Kieron Gillen. Together they went on to create, among other works, »Phonogram« and »The Wicked + The Divine«. McKelvie also wrote and drew the independent series »Suburban Glamour«. His other comic work includes »Young Avengers«, »Generation Hope«, »The Siege: Loki«, »X-Men: Season One« and a story for »Batman: Black and White«. He worked on several Marvel titles in collaboration with writers including Warren Ellis, Matt Fraction and Dennis Hopeless. As a character designer, he developed redesigns of Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel and Loki. Outside comics, he created album covers, novel cover art and artwork for the video game »Kudos 2«.
