Hubert vom Venn

Hubert vom Venn (born 1953) is a German journalist, writer and cabaret artist. He began training as a journalist at a daily newspaper before reaching adulthood and subsequently worked as an editor. He later worked as a radio presenter, screenwriter and gag writer, as well as a theater director. From the 1990s onward, he performed as a cabaret artist and published novels, crime fiction and short-story collections related to the Eifel region. In 2010, he was elected chair of the trade union section of the Aachener Presse district association within the German Journalists’ Association.
