Carola Clasen

Carola Clasen was born in Cologne in 1950 and worked for several years as a foreign-language assistant in Belgium. She published her first Eifel crime novel, Atemnot, in 1998. Her work includes crime novels and short stories, many of them set in the Eifel region. A central character in her crime series is Detective Inspector Sonja Senger, who solves cases in an unconventional and intuitive manner.
