Holger Zaborowski

Holger Zaborowski (born 1974) studied philosophy, theology and classical philology in Freiburg, Basel and Cambridge, and earned doctorates at the universities of Oxford and Siegen. From 2001 to 2005, he was a research assistant at the University of Freiburg. He subsequently taught at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., and held a chair in the history of philosophy and philosophical ethics at the Philosophisch-Theologische Hochschule Vallendar, serving as its rector from 2017. Since 2020, he has been listed as a professor of philosophy at the University of Erfurt. Zaborowski has published on classical German philosophy, phenomenology and hermeneutics, as well as ethics, philosophy of religion and political philosophy. He was a co-editor of the Heidegger Yearbook.
