Heinrich Aukenthaler

Heinrich Aukenthaler, born in 1952, was born in South Tyrol’s Wipptal valley. He initially worked as a secondary-school teacher and headed the South Tyrolean Hunting Association from 1982 to 2019. Alongside his professional career, he published occasional contributions and was involved in the specialist book “Wild-Wissen,” among other projects. Ornithology was one of his personal interests.
