Armin Deutz

Armin Deutz (born 1962 in Friesach, Carinthia) is a veterinarian and a specialist in wildlife and zoo animals. He worked as a public veterinarian in the Murau district and focused professionally and academically on zoonoses, animal diseases, and wildlife biology. He also taught zoonoses at the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna and worked as a publicly sworn and court-certified expert in veterinary medicine, hunting, animal welfare, and game meat. His specialist books include “Wildkrankheiten, Hundekrankheiten, Zoonosen” (Wild Diseases, Dog Diseases, Zoonoses), “Fütterung von Reh- und Rotwild” (Feeding Roe Deer and Red Deer), and “Das Wildbret: Vom Aufbrechen bis zur Zubereitung” (Game Meat: From Field Dressing to Preparation).
