Hannes Riffel

Hannes Riffel (born 1966) is a trained bookseller who worked as an editor and publishing program director for, among others, Argument, Klett-Cotta, and S. Fischer. He translated Anglo-American literature, with a focus on speculative fiction, and received the Kurd-Laßwitz-Preis several times for his work as a translator and editor. Riffel co-founded the Otherland bookstore and headed Golkonda Verlag. In 2023, he co-founded Carcosa Verlag with Hardy Kettlitz.
