Neil Gaiman, born in 1960 in England, is an English author and comics writer. He initially worked as a journalist and became known for the comic series Sandman. His works include the novels Neverwhere, American Gods, Coraline, The Graveyard Book and The Ocean at the End of the Lane, as well as Good Omens, written with Terry Pratchett. Gaiman has also written graphic novels, short stories, children’s books and screenplays. His work has received numerous awards, including the Hugo Award, World Fantasy Award, Locus Award, Eisner Award, Newbery Medal and Carnegie Medal.
