Flora S. Mahler, born in Vienna in 1975, studied philosophy and German studies. Her writing appeared in anthologies and journals, including »die Rampe«. From 2005, she worked as a visual artist with the Asgar/Gabriel collective and exhibited at venues including the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, the Torrance Art Museum in Los Angeles, Kunsthal Rotterdam, and Kunsthallen Brandts in Odense. Her debut novel, »Julie Leyroux«, was published by Müry Salzmann in 2021.
