Ernst Schmid

Ernst Schmid was born in 1958 in Jenbach, Tyrol, and spent his childhood and youth in Schärding. He published five volumes of poetry and 16 crime novels, as well as numerous short crime stories in anthologies and magazines. His novel “Denk ermittelt in Linz” marked his debut with Gmeiner-Verlag. His professional activities included working as a secondary-school teacher and as an independent sales optimization consultant for individuals and companies.
