Carsten Schmitt

Carsten Schmitt was born in 1977. He published his first texts in fanzines and magazines in the 1990s and later contributed to the magazine NAUTILUS and the CTHULHU role-playing game. After spending several years in England and taking an extended break from writing, he returned to literary work. In 2018, he attended the TAOS TOOLBOX writers’ workshop in the United States with Walter Jon Williams, Nancy Kress, and George R. R. Martin. Alongside writing, he devoted considerable time to karate and attained ranks in Shotokan Karate and the World Combat Association.
