Andreas Eschbach

Andreas Eschbach was born in Ulm in 1959. He studied aerospace engineering in Stuttgart and initially worked as a software developer before turning to writing full time. He began writing at the age of twelve. He became known for the thriller “The Jesus Video,” followed by its 2014 sequel “The Jesus Deal.” Other notable novels include “One Trillion Dollars,” “Burnout,” “A King for Germany,” “Lord of All Things,” and “NSA: National Security Agency.” His work also includes books for younger readers, such as the “Black*Out” trilogy, “Aquamarin,” and “The Mars Project.” His first adult novel received the Science Fiction Club Germany literary prize, and he was also awarded a grant from the Arno Schmidt Foundation.
