Christian H. Jonka was born in Darmstadt in 1973 and moved to Hamburg at the age of seven. He studied computer science and wrote his first piece of software on his father’s computer when he was twelve. His interest in theoretical physics also informs his literary work. Jonka’s debut novel, Miko, is the opening volume of a future-set story conceived as a trilogy.
