Michael Marrak

Michael Marrak (born 1965 in Weikersheim, Germany) studied graphic design, desktop publishing and multimedia in Stuttgart. From the late 1980s onward, he worked as an author, illustrator, editor and anthologist. After several years as a freelance illustrator, he focused primarily on writing from 1997 onward. His novels and short stories have been translated into, among other languages, French, Greek, Russian, Chinese, Hungarian and English. His 2017 novel “Der Kanon mechanischer Seelen” received the Kurd Laßwitz Prize and the Seraph Phantasy Literature Award in 2018.
