Barbara von Meibom

Barbara von Meibom, born in 1947, is a political and communication scientist. She taught at the University of Duisburg-Essen and pursued academic work on communication and media. She also worked as a psychosynthesis therapist, coach, organizational development consultant, and trainer. She headed the consulting firm “Communio – Kommunikations- und Kooperationsberatung,” also referred to as the Communio Institute for Leadership. Her work thus combined academic research and teaching with professional development, coaching, and spiritual guidance.
