Astrid Miglar

Astrid Miglar, born in 1970 in Steyr, is an Austrian author. After training as an office administrator, she worked as a medical receptionist, in various banks, and in industry. She began writing in 2019 and co-founded the literary group “textQuartett Steyr” with three other authors. Her short stories, fairy tales, columns, and other literary texts have appeared in magazines and anthologies. Her debut crime novel, “Natternkopf,” was published in 2021. It was followed by the children’s book “Hexenwerk und Drachenzeugs” (2023), the crime novel “Mörderisches Traunviertel” (2023), and “Blutrotes Weimar.”
