Anne Danck

Anne Danck, born in 1991 and raised in Berlin, studied biology and earned a doctorate in behavioral biology. At the age of 15, she received her first award for a short story. Further publications in anthologies followed, including »Anthologie Noir 1«, which received the German Phantastik Prize in 2019. Her debut novel, »Spielmannsbraut«, was published by Drachenmond Verlag in 2021. Later works include the fairy-tale anthology »Wünsche so schwarz wie Ebenholz« (2022) and the dark fantasy novel »Es war einmal im Dunklen Wald« (2023).
