Manuel Otto Bendrin, born in Baden-Württemberg in 1984, trained as a retail salesperson before becoming a writer. He began writing in 2017 and has published several short stories with small presses. His fiction focuses mainly on fantasy and fantastical horror. In 2021, his short story “Das Blütenfest” won second place in the Noel Verlag fantasy competition. Alongside his writing, Bendrin has worked as an editor for other authors and for the Weltenportal e-magazine.
