Alisha Gamisch

Alisha Gamisch (born 1990 in Tegernsee) studied German and English literature in Munich and London and works as a teacher and writer. Her first poetry collection, “Lustdorf,” was published by Verlagshaus Berlin in 2020 and was selected by the Haus für Poesie as one of the year’s best poetry debuts. In 2022, she received the Nora Pfeffer Prize for Poetry from the Bavarian Cultural Centre for Germans from Russia; in 2023, she held a fellowship at the Literary Colloquium Berlin’s novel workshop. She was nominated for the Munich Poetry Prize in 2016. Gamisch has published texts in literary journals and magazines and co-founded the feminist online magazine wepsert.de. “Parasiti” is her debut novel.
