Winfried Marotzki (born 1950) is a German educator and professor. From 1991 to October 2015, he held the chair of General Education at the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and Education at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. His academic fields include theories of learning and education, particularly media education, anthropology, qualitative research methods, and audiovisual communication. Marotzki is emeritus.
