Ulrich Maske

Ulrich Maske was born in Hanover and studied psychology in Hamburg. After completing his studies, he worked as a music producer with artists from the folk and jazz scenes, including Hannes Wader. He also produced music, audiobooks and audio dramas for children and adults. As a writer of lyrics and music, he created children’s songs, instrumental music, rhymes and poetry. His productions and publications received numerous awards. Maske was a co-founder of JUMBO Verlag, where he was responsible for the JUMBO, GOYA, GOYAlibre and GOYALiT programmes. Poetry had been part of his life since childhood; he published his first poem at the age of 18.
