Rocio Bonilla

Rocío Bonilla, born in Barcelona in 1970, is an illustrator and author of numerous children’s books. She studied art with a focus on illustration at the University of Barcelona and, before publishing her first book, worked as a painter, photographer, educator, and in advertising. Her first child inspired her to return to art. She published her children’s book debut in 2010. Bonilla has received several Spanish and Catalan awards. Among her best-known works is the picture book “What Color Is a Kiss?”, which was also published as a board book.
