Ulrich Bossier

Dr. Ulrich Bossier, born in 1952 in Monheim am Rhein, was a literary translator who studied German and Romance languages and literature. He earned a diploma in literary translation from German, French, and English and completed a doctorate with a dissertation on Molière. In addition to translating, he worked as an editor, copy editor, and proofreader for various publishers. His translations include Michel de Montaigne’s “A Journal of His Travels in Italy,” Voltaire’s “Candide,” and Roger Moorhouse’s “Killing Hitler.” He also contributed as a co-translator to Nicholas Goodrick-Clarke’s “The Occult Roots of Nazism.”
