Torsten Hoffmann

Torsten Hoffmann (born 1973) is a literary scholar and professor of modern German literature at the University of Stuttgart. He is also president of the International Rilke Society. His publications include the monograph “Rainer Maria Rilke” (2021), the edited volume “Navid Kermani” (2018), “Körperpoetiken. Zur Funktion des Körpers in der Dichtungstheorie des 18. Jahrhunderts” (2014), the co-edited volume “Echt inszeniert. Interviews in Literatur und Literaturbetrieb” (2014), and the edition “W. G. Sebald: Auf ungeheuer dünnem Eis. Gespräche 1971–2001” (2011).
