Hermann Korte

Hermann Korte (born 1949) is a German scholar of literature and literary education. He was a professor of modern German literature and literary education at the University of Siegen. Korte served as editor-in-chief of the journal »TEXT+KRITIK« and edited the »Kritisches Lexikon zur deutschsprachigen Gegenwartsliteratur« (KLG), a reference work on contemporary German-language literature. He also co-edited the Benn Forum. His research focuses include German-language literature from the eighteenth to the twenty-first century, theater history, Expressionism and Dadaism, postwar literature, and German-language poetry since 1945.
