Stef

Born in 1996, Stef is a German word artist of Greek origin. From 2014 onward, he performed texts on queerness, mental health and other sociopolitical subjects at literary and cabaret stages across the German-speaking world. From 2017, he formed the poetry slam team “Textstreet Boys” with Malte Küppers; the team reached the final of the German-language championships in 2021. Stef took part in the North Rhine-Westphalian and German-language poetry slam championships in 2017 and 2018 and was shortlisted for the Vestische Literatur-Eule in 2021. In 2022, he won the Hessian Spoken Word Prize. For Satyr Verlag, he edited the anthologies “Fantastische Queerwesen und wie sie sich finden” (2019, with Sven Hensel) and “Irre schön” (2022, with Bonny Lycen).
