Simon Schwartz

Simon Schwartz (born 1982) is a German comics artist and author. He published his first graphic novel, »drüben!«, in 2009; it was nominated for the German Youth Literature Prize. His second graphic novel, »Packeis« (2012), received the Max and Moritz Prize for Best German Comic. His other works include »IKON« (2018) and »Das Parlament« (2019). From 2019 onward, Schwartz drew the comic series »Vita Obscura« for the F.A.Z. Magazine, replacing Karl Lagerfeld’s »Karlikaturen« after Lagerfeld’s death.
