Elke Renate Steiner

Elke Renate Steiner, also known as Elke R. Steiner, was born in Bremen in 1971. She is a comic artist and illustrator. She studied visual communication at Münster University of Applied Sciences, graduating with a diploma in graphic design, and pursued further training in multimedia design. Steiner has published several graphic novels and gives workshops for aspiring comic artists. In 1999, she received a fellowship from the Jewish Museum Rendsburg, followed by a fellowship from Künstlerhaus Kloster Cismar in 2007.
