Silke Birgitta Gahleitner

Silke Birgitta Gahleitner holds a doctorate in clinical psychology and a postdoctoral qualification in educational science. She worked for many years as a social worker and psychotherapist, including in social-therapeutic institutions for traumatized women and children and in private practice. From 2006 onward, she taught clinical psychology and social work at Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences Berlin, in the field of psychosocial assessment and intervention. Her research focuses include psychosocial trauma work, biopsychosocial assessment, counseling and therapy, gender studies, and qualitative research methods.
