Herbert Effinger

Herbert Effinger, born in 1951, holds a degree in social pedagogy and a doctorate in the social sciences. Until 2016, he was a professor of social work science and social pedagogy at the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Dresden. He also worked as a consultant, teaching supervisor, and coach (DGSv). His areas of focus include theories and methods of social work, counseling, and the use of humor in social work.
