Heiner Keupp (born 1943 in Kulmbach, Germany) is a German social psychologist. He studied psychology and sociology and taught at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich from 1978 to 2008, serving as a professor of social and community psychology. His research has focused on social change, identity formation and its psychosocial consequences, the stigmatization of minorities, and the psychological and social effects of Germany’s Nazi past and reunification. Keupp chaired the commission that prepared the German government’s 13th Child and Youth Report.
