Sara Schurmann

Sara Schurmann is a German journalist and author. She studied social sciences in Berlin and Paris and trained at the Henri Nannen School. She has worked for publications including Der Tagesspiegel and ZEIT ONLINE, served as co-founder and editor-in-chief of the feminist magazine F Mag, and was head of copy and deputy editor-in-chief of VICE’s German editorial operation. In 2021, she helped found the German Climate Journalism Network. In 2020, she used an open letter to initiate a debate about climate reporting.
