Paul Onasch

Paul Onasch, born in 1985, studied German, social sciences and Protestant religious studies in Rostock and Vienna. He received his doctorate from the University of Rostock in 2018 with a dissertation on biblical reception in the novels of Uwe Johnson. From 2016 to 2019, Onasch served as deputy head of the Ernst Barlach correspondence edition office, also referred to as the Barlach 2020 research center. He is a co-editor of the critical edition of Ernst Barlach’s letters.
